Erin Kasprowicz

Hello Friends! My name’s Erin. I’m a FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

“Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure!” St. John Paul II

This quote is well known and used often because it could not be more true! And this has been my experience especially in the last three years of serving as a FOCUS missionary in Kansas and Idaho. The adventure continues as the Lord in His incredible goodness has called me to return to my hometown as the Team Director at UTSA-University of Texas at San Antonio! In this role I will have the privilege of pouring into my teammates and leading them as we share the reality of the Gospel and the vision of the Great Commission that naturally flows from it, with the students at UTSA. Sharing daily life with them I will lead students in missionary discipleship, in studying Scripture, and into a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ. I am incredibly honored and humbled to be able to serve this city that has formed me and means so much to me.

My Story

Do you truly believe that you are in dire need of a Savior?

As I continue to grow in relationship with Jesus I become more and more aware of my need for Him and that I often live my daily life in a way that rejects the necessity that He is for my very existence. I believe that the most fundamental issue in our culture today is our complete denial of our need of Jesus as Savior and the way that this leads us to believe we can and must save ourselves.  To be human is to be in need and ultimately to be loved by God the Father. This is who we are.

When I look back I can see many different ways that the Lord has been preparing my heart to share this truth in relational ministry particularly with college age women. I have personally known the struggle of believing I need to be perfect to be loved and the Lord has allow this difficulty to bear fruit in the lives of others.  I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the way the Lord manifest Himself in the hearts of women and it hurts me when women can’t see this in themselves.

Throughout college,  in my journey of struggling with anxiety and wrestling with questions of how to not only live out my faith but also how I desired to live my life in general,  the Lord met me in a new way through FOCUS.  My freshman year I was invited into a Bible Study and pursued in friendship by a junior student names Adri. The Lord drastically transformed my heart through this relationship that I was gifted with and the many other women that poured into me on a consistent basis. These women were true reflections for me of the Lord’s love and in particular His consistency even in the face of my failure and imperfection. Life opened up as I began to experience the riches life has to offer when I rely on Jesus instead of myself.

I want everyone to know of the deep and personal love the Lord has for them. The reality is that this love changes everything and it continues to transform me, I cannot help but share it!

Your Impact

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to share in this mission with me. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. This mission is truly not possible without generous people like you. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to partner in this mission with you.
