I’ll be returning to the University of Southern Indiana for Year 2! HUM SCREAGS!

I was born and raised Catholic. I knew who Jesus was and His importance, but I did not have a real relationship with Him. Throughout my life, I put my identity into other things and was grasping for something more.

I arrived to Ball State University in the Fall of 2020. (Chirp Chirp!) I was excited for a new adventure, and I had no idea what was in store. I was invited to go to Mass and events at the Newman Center by a friend. I then encountered a FOCUS missionary. This missionary took the time to invest in me and I was eventually invited into a bible study and then later into discipleship. It was because of the investment of student leaders and missionaries in me I was able to deepen my relationship with Christ. I then decided to become a missionary myself so that I would have the opportunity to invest in and walk with college students the same way I was.

Living a life of mission this past year has truly been transformational and such a great gift. At USI, I have had the great privilege of walking with so many women and be a witness to the transformation of their hearts! It has been the greatest joy watching them grow closer to the Lord and also encouraging others to do the same!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission.
