We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
It’s my first year with FOCUS, and I couldn’t be more excited to announce that I’ll be serving at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana with Abigail, William and Patrick. My team and I are so happy to be on this mission meeting the students and helping them to grow in their faith during this time in college and beyond!
Although I grew up in a Catholic family, I didn’t really see Jesus as a friend until I met some missionaries from the Heralds of the Gospel doing house visits in my city. In that visit, they invited me on an international retreat in their community. When I went to this retreat my whole perspective of the Catholic faith changed by seeing how they LIVED the Gospel instead of just talking about it. I was just fourteen at the time and I used to feel very lonely and lost, so decided to live in that missionary community so I could grow in my relationship with the Lord. Through that experience, I encountered the same happiness I saw in the missionaries on that first visit. I would say that was the time of my life when my conversion happened. The way they became my friends and shared life with me is what brought me here, and I can’t wait to be this kind of friend to the students at NSU
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. In making this decision, I believe wholeheartedly in spending as much time as possible investing in students through full-time mission.
That being said, if you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and we can schedule an appointment. I am always looking for people who’re willing to give in any way they are able, but especially through a recurring, monthly donation basis. I’d be so honored to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
