Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. I’m excited for the opportunity to walk with the students of ISU alongside my incredible team, Go Bengals!

My Story

I came to know Jesus Christ at the start of my senior year in college. For 21 years of my life, there was always something missing. I had everything I thought was needed to be happy, and yet I felt empty. In September of 2023 while working, I encountered a group of Catholic students with an inexplicable, radiant joy that I knew was missing from my life. I befriended them and inquired about the source of their happiness, and they began sharing their faith. This led to much exploration and research on Catholicism, and I set up a meeting with the campus chaplain. He invited me to attend Mass and other events at St. Paul’s Catholic Student Center, and from there I was introduced to a FOCUS missionary who invited me to a Bible study and helped me build a personal relationship with Christ.

I was then baptized and confirmed during the Easter Vigil in 2024, and ever since, I have desired to help spread the Gospel so that others can share in the same love and peace that Jesus Christ brought me. Without FOCUS missionaries, their disciples, Bible studies, and FOCUS events (like SEEK), I would still be adrift. There are millions of college students out there with that same longing for Christ that I once had, and I want to walk with them so that they can find the peace that only He brings.

Your support helps me to be freely available to the students I walk with, and to invest in them the same way that was done for me.
