We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve college students at the University of Passau in Germany. I am so excited to share the love of Christ with women in Germany! You can find me hanging out at the local coffee shop, enjoying the beauty of nature, or hanging out with friends.
I grew up Catholic, but I did not experience the love of the Father until high school, and then my faith was only lived out on retreats and in class, but not in my daily life. In my freshman year of college at Kalamazoo College, I was introduced to FOCUS and started to attend Bible studies and walk with the missionaries. Their example showed me how to incorporate my faith into my daily life, frequent the Sacraments, and have a daily prayer life. Jesus called me deeper and deeper into relationship with Him, showing me His great love for me. I became convicted of the need to share the gospel in my everyday life, and I started to lead a Bible study on campus. Then my junior year, I studied abroad in Erlangen, Germany. I entered a spiritual desert, where there was no daily Mass, no Catholic community, and I had to choose to follow God without the benefits of community and accountability. This time ignited a desire to serve the Catholic Church in Germany. These experiences led me to discern a position working as a full-time missionary with FOCUS, so I can lead other women to the freedom that life with Christ offers!
After two amazing years serving at DePauw University in Indiana, I have discerned a call to serve with FOCUS in Germany. There are lots of little details and ways that the Lord made it clear that He was calling me to serve with Him abroad, and I’d love to share them with you abroad. I am so excited to use my German degree, and immerse myself in the culture of Germany!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
