Where I serve
I am blessed to serve as a first year missionary at the University of Iowa! Go Hawkeyes!
My Story
When I was a freshman, I went to a Eucharistic Procession that completely changed how I wanted to spend time in college. That night, a missionary came up and started a simple conversation with me and for the first time in a long time, I felt truly seen. She wanted to know me, not just surface level. That moment of friendship led me to start going to the Newman Center regularly, where I found virtuous friendships and people who helped me grow in my faith. Now, as a missionary, I get to invite students into that same kind of encounter, one that can change the trajectory of their college career.
