We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello, my name is Griffin and I’m a FOCUS missionary!
“A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
God has called me to serve at the University of South Dakota! Go Coyotes! Here is a picture of my team:
I was blessed to grow up in a Catholic household, but found myself lost and alone as I began my freshman year at the University of Illinois. Searching for community, I encountered a FOCUS missionary at the Newman Center. He helped show me the value of divine intimacy with Jesus Christ and the power of authentic friendship with other men striving for sainthood. I gradually came to know the person of Jesus Christ and grow in virtue over the next few years before accepting the call to do full time mission!
When I accepted the call to be a FOCUS missionary, I chose to rely on the support of mission partners like you to guide me on campus. I am blessed to have a team supporting me spiritually and financially as I go to share the gospel with students on campus. Thank you for your love and support!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
