Hi all! Welcome! My name is Hallie Horner, and I am a missionary at the University of Southern California!

Where I serve

God has led me to serve at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles! Fight On! I cannot wait for all that the Lord has in store for my first year on mission with FOCUS!

My Story

As a missionary, I desire for everyone to be known and loved by Jesus. I was extremely blessed to be raised in a Christian home and developed a personal relationship with Christ throughout my early adolescent years. As I began college, I desired to live a full life and chased after perfection in everything that I did. This lifestyle of self-sufficiency left me exhausted, and the Lord met me in this place in all of His kindness. He showed me the gentle and humble love that He has always had for me. During this time, God revealed to me the truth, beauty, and fullness of the Catholic Church, and I entered into the Church in March of 2024. As I grew into my understanding of my pure identity as a beloved daughter, I simultaneously grew in my conviction to share with students their own identity as son or daughter of God. I desire to walk hand in hand with others in authentic friendship into the Father’s arms.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I decided to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. My mission partners are the reason I am able to pursue my students freely.
