We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction.”
–BENEDICT XVI
I’m thrilled to be part of the Philanthropy Team at FOCUS, where I have the incredible opportunity to work with our benefactors nationwide who generously support our missionary endeavors.
Having served with FOCUS for seven years now, I consider it a true privilege. I had the honor of dedicating three years to mission work at the University of California Santa Barbara, both as a missionary and as a team director. Prior to my current role, I spent two years on FOCUS’ Alumni team in a national capacity.
The summer following my high school graduation marked a significant turning point in my life when my faith became tangible and deeply meaningful. It was during this time of silence and introspection that I experienced a powerful encounter with the Lord, sparking an ongoing adventure that continues to unfold.
During my college years, I discerned a calling to become a missionary. This deep sense of purpose ultimately led me to join FOCUS, where I am privileged to serve as a missionary. I have the incredible opportunity to extend invitations to individuals, inviting them into a dynamic and deepening relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
It is a tremendous joy and honor to be part of this transformative journey, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of Christ’s love and the impact it has on the lives of those we encounter.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. The mission of FOCUS would not be possible without the generous giving of our mission supporters. Thank you for your consideration and may God bless your generosity!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
