Hey! My name’s Jack. I’m a FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

I am serving my 5th year on mission as the Team Director at Clemson University!

My Story

I began college at Texas A&M, picking up right where I left off my faith in high school – just going through the motions: Sunday Mass and the occasional community event. Towards the end of freshman year, I had a good friend share with me how a personal relationship with Jesus Christ had changed his life – it was more fulfilled, lively, and free. I saw something in him that I wanted. I took a step towards that life, beginning to pray more frequently, pushing for excellence in faith in addition to school. As much as I was trying to grow, I was still falling into the same traps of worry about friends, grades, and being perfect.

A switch was flipped junior year when the same friend asked me one night, “Jack, is Jesus enough for you?” I had to answer honestly, that no He wasn’t. I was placing my worth in friendships, grades, and involvement. From that point on, my striving for excellence continued with a different lens – Jesus is enough for me, and He alone will bring fulfillment, life, and freedom! This path has lead me to know God’s faithfulness and goodness, so much so that I want men in college to know that in a greater way!

Serving as a missionary the past two years at LA Tech, I am excited to return to Clemson and lead the team and students to encounter the person of Jesus Christ!
