God has called me to serve at the University of Oregon for a third year! I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to walk alongside college students who are hungering for something more in this life. Please pray for me and my team, as we go out on campus and set it on fire with the love of Christ! SKO DUCKS!

I’m blessed to be born and raised in a loving and faithful Catholic family. Despite this upbringing, I still found myself falling for Satan’s lies and rooting my identity in the fleeting pleasures of this world. Little did I know, my life would soon be transformed once I went to college at San Diego State University (Go Aztecs!). Through my friendships with the FOCUS missionaries and other students at the Newman Center, my relationship with Christ deepened. It was through their examples that I centered my life around Jesus by growing in a life of prayer, virtuous friendships, the sacraments, and the Church teachings. I’ve experienced true freedom and joy in life like never before in rooting my identity in the love of Christ and to share that love with those around me. In a time where most young people tend to fall away from the Catholic Faith, I was only further grounded in it. As I continue to grow in my relationship with the Lord, I desire to share this Christ-like life with others.

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’s own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus.

Being on mission has been a blessing! However, I can’t do this alone. When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the prayerful and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. It’s because of them that I am able to continue to fully give myself as a gift on campus.
