We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us – and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
1 John 3:16
Our relationship with the Lord is first and foremost rooted in love. We then must allow this love to flourish through us and into those around us.
I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska with my parents, brother, and sister. Growing up my family attended the St. Patricks parish in Elkhorn, Nebraska where I also attended Religious Formation classes. From there I attended a private catholic high school and then left for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from where I earned a degree in Secondary English Education graduating in May of 2025.
Throughout all of this, I started knowing about our mission to evangelize when I took Missionary Discipleship as a class my senior year of high school. I had struggled with how I viewed myself and feeling like I could not be me for a lot of high school. This class taught me that no matter who I am, I am a son of the Father and that my life and my story can be used to glorify Him and bring other souls closer to Him. This was the start of me orienting my life to the Lord and trying to live my life for Him. Going to UNL I started attending the Newman Center very early on, deepening my love for Jesus. I started to immerse myself in whatever I could. I really came to know Jesus through the communities that I found in Phi Kappa Theta, the Catholic fraternity at UNL, and the Newman Center. Realizing the Lord’s love for us and trying to emulate that for as many people as I can is why I want to continue serving the Lord.
I am excited to be doing so with the FOCUS organization. Seeing the work they did on my campus, and my time working with missionaries I was able to see the importance of mission on college campuses and how much students need a sliver of God’s love. Something that, at least for me, FOCUS was. Being able to be that for someone, even to save just one soul, makes it all worth it.
We cannot do this work alone. Primarily, it is with the Lord that we are enabled to go on this mission and set the world on fire. This work is also not possible without support from others on Earth who want to be a part of this mission as well. Supporting is a way to join the mission, enable us to do the work we do. Without you, none of this would be possible!
I am eternally grateful for any and all support that you provide not only for me on this mission, but for FOCUS as a whole, for any other sons and daughters out there who need a piece of God’s love, and for the Kingdom of God as a whole.
Thank you and God bless!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
