We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
May we be the bread that is broken and shared for others until all are fed.
I am blessed to be serving two years at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Go Vols!
I was raised in a devout Catholic family and attended Catholic school all my life, where I came to know Christ and the call to share His love with others from a young age. During my early years at Texas Tech University however, I found myself living as a lukewarm Catholic. I valued the leadership, success, and community I found on campus and within Greek life, but quietly limited Christ’s reign in my life to Sunday mass and good morals, and rooted my identity in achievements and approval. When these empty pursuits failed to satisfy, I fell to college temptations in search of fulfillment, which only amplified the void I felt in my heart. I was quickly realizing I had been sold a lie of the world that chasing comfort, pleasure, and empty success would bring happiness, and was left with a deep longing to become the person God created me to be.
Halfway through sophomore year, the Lord met me through the witness of my FOCUS missionary Mary and drew me frequently to Eucharistic adoration. Spring semester during an encounter in prayer, Christ invited me to “Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Me”. In that moment I vowed to commit my life to Him, and later came to know the lasting joy that comes from allowing the Holy Spirt to upend our plans and exceed our expectations.
As my relationship with Christ deepened, so did my desire to help other women experience that same love. I served as Chapter President of my sorority and spent the next two years mentoring women in Greek life in their call to live as Christ’s disciples. My mission was to help those around me view themselves, others, and the world through the lens of Christ. As a FOCUS missionary, I have the joy of continuing that mission and hope to help as many college students as possible discover their identity in Christ and the fullness of life found in Him and His Church.
As a FOCUS missionary, I rely entirely on the generosity of mission partners who feel called to invest in the work God is doing across college campuses. Your support makes it possible for me to lead Bible studies, mentor students one-on-one, host outreach events, and build authentic friendships that point others to Christ.
By joining my support team, you’re not only giving financially, but playing a vital role in transforming lives and building up the Church through the next generation. Together, we can bring the Gospel to students who are longing to be seen, known, and loved by Christ. God bless you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
