I am beyond blessed to be serving the next two years on mission at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville! Go Vols!

Being raised Catholic and attending Catholic school all my life, the love of Christ had been made known to me from a young age. I was involved in campus ministry in high school and understood the importance of sharing Christ’s love with those around me.

During my time at Texas Tech University, I was deeply involved on campus and within Greek life. While I cherished the leadership opportunities and community, in my early college years, I found myself living as a lukewarm Catholic. I often found myself turning to wordly pleasures, and seeking fulfillment in achievements and social recognition. I wanted to change my life, but didn’t know how.

It wasn’t until I encountered a FOCUS missionary my sophomore year that my life was changed forever. Through authentic friendship, Bible study, daily prayer, and the sacraments, I encountered the living God and was deeply convicted of the love and truth He seeks to offer all of mankind.

As my relationship with Christ grew, so did my desire to help the women around me experience that same love. I stepped further into leadership positions on campus, most notably within my sorority as Chapter President. My desire was not simply to serve, but to intentionally love others as Christ had loved me. Over the next two years, I led a Bible study for women in Greek life and discipled women from other sororities, walking with them as they grew in faith, and discovered their true identity in Christ.

Now, as a FOCUS missionary, I have the joy of answering the call to continue that mission. I am eager to walk with college students, especially women in Greek life, helping them discover their true identity as beloved children of God, and showing them the fullness of life that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Just as others invested in me, I now have the privilege to invest in students who will go on to impact their campuses, their communities, and the Church.

As a FOCUS missionary, I rely entirely on the generosity of mission partners who feel called to invest in the work God is doing across college campuses. Your support makes it possible for me to lead Bible studies, mentor students one-on-one, host outreach events, and build authentic friendships that point others to Christ.
