Where I serve

I spent my first two years as a missionary in Columbia, MO at the University of Missouri. After that, I spent two years in Storrs, CT at the University of Connecticut. I currently serve as a Regional Director managing missionary teams on eight campuses: Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, St. Francis (PA), Edinboro (PA), Maine, UMass, UConn and Columbia University!

My Story

Heading into my freshman year of college, I had an image of God that I thought was quite normal. He gives me the rules, and its my job to play by them as best as possible. I had always conceived God as mostly a rule-giver and judge.
In my spring semester freshman year at UF, I encountered God in a new way – person to person in prayer. This moment challenged my conception of God, and I was able to see that he desired a close relationship with me. God the Father, proved His love for me in giving up His Son up to death for me. This was no longer a distant truth, but rather a truth that had touched my heart.

“See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.” (1 John 3:1)

The is the good news that Our Father in heaven loves us, desires us, and wants us to live with Him forever as His children. My story has led me to share this news with others, and it has brought me much joy.
