We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
-Matthew 11:28-30
I have been blessed to spend the majority of my life in the Western region of the United States and am very excited to continue to live and serve in the West at the University of Nevada in Reno!
“For he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name” (Luke 1:49). My life has been one of many blessings. I was raised in a strong Catholic household where my parents made very clear to me and my siblings that the Catholic Faith was the most important part, or rather, the whole of our identity.
Despite their own love for the faith, it was not until High School that I began to take my faith more seriously and to accept it as my own especially through the invitation of a friend to attend eucharistic adoration with him on a consistent basis. I began to fall in love with our Eucharistic Lord.
After high school I attended Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California for my undergrad, and there I encountered the Lord’s love in a totally new way. His love was made present to me through the daily reception of the sacraments and the deep friendships that I formed. During my years as a student, I felt a call to the priesthood and after graduating I joined St. Michael’s Abbey in Silverado, California.
Over the past two years I have received wonderful formation in the faith as a Novice of the Norbertine order and grown deeper in prayer. Throughout my time at St. Michael’s Abbey, I had frequently heard of FOCUS and of the effect that this organization has had on so many young adults. The model of FOCUS, especially the Little Way of Evangelization through developing authentic friendship with the students intrigued me greatly and by the grace of God I was accepted to staff!
The college campus has become a battleground for souls; with your prayers and financial support together we can win souls back to Christ!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
