We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“So through God you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son then an heir.”
Galatians 4:7
I am excited to be returning as a second-year missionary at the University of Pittsburgh! Go Panthers!
I was blessed to grow up in a loving and supportive family. I attended Catholic school my whole life, and was familiar with the stories and teachings of Christ and the Church. Despite this, I lived a life which put myself at the center of it all. I would do what I want, what was best for me or what pleased me. Living like this gave me temporary highs, but would always end of leaving me empty and unfulfilled.
While I was a student at the University of Missouri (Go Tigers!), I was encountered by a FOCUS missionary. He was so joyful, and I wanted to be like him. I saw that at the center of his life was not himself, but Jesus Christ. His witness and accompaniment pointed me towards an encounter with the goodness of the Lord and the Good News of the Gospel, and that living a life with Christ at the center is the most fulfilling thing. It is the very thing which we were made for. He also invited me to do as he did, to share the Good News with others by leading a Bible Study and walking with others in their journey with Christ. I knew that I wanted to continue growing in relationship with Christ and sharing him with others for the rest of my life. My senior year, I felt the Lord calling me to be to respond to this desire by being his missionary with FOCUS.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
