We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“To live without faith, without a heritage to defend, without battling constantly for truth, is not to live but to ‘get along’; we must never just ‘get along.’”
-Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati
I’m excited to be serving at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina! As a former college wrestler, I have a deep connection to the world of athletics, and I’m looking forward to reaching student-athletes on campus. My hope is to share with them that their identity isn’t rooted in their performance or success in sports, but in the unshakable truth that their value and identity are found in Christ.
I feel truly blessed to have grown up in a devout Catholic home, where my family instilled in me strong Christian values from a young age. I know that not everyone has the gift of that kind of upbringing, and I don’t take it for granted. While my faith journey has had its ups and downs over the years, I can confidently say that my trust in God and His Church has never wavered.
My spiritual life really began to deepen during my time at the Virginia Military Institute, where I developed a meaningful prayer life and found a small but faithful Catholic community that provided both support and accountability. That experience played a major role in shaping the way I live out my faith today.
After graduating, I didn’t immediately join FOCUS, although I was invited and genuinely interested. At the time, I was set on moving back home to Richmond, Virginia, to be closer to family. But after about nine months of working in Richmond, I realized something was missing. I wasn’t fulfilled. Out of curiosity I called a good friend of mine who had answered the call to join FOCUS right after college. That conversation changed everything.
Since then, I’ve been deeply moved by the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had through this mission. My hope is to bring that same sense of faith-filled community and accountability to the students I meet on campus—just as I was blessed to receive during my time at VMI.
If you had asked me at the beginning of this journey how I felt about raising my own support, I probably would’ve told you I wasn’t thrilled about it—but I knew it was necessary. Now, I can honestly say it’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
The conversations I’ve had, the relationships I’ve built, and the encouragement I’ve received—none of it would have been possible without relying on the generosity of my mission partners. I’ve been truly blessed by the incredible people who have chosen to support me, whether through financial gifts or faithful prayer.
If you’re at all interested in hearing more about my journey or getting involved, I’d love to connect with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
