We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing…As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” – John 15:5,9
The Lord has invited me to serve students at THE Ohio State University in Columbus, OH (the trademark isn’t as serious to the students as I thought it would be-haha). I am humbled and honored to share life with the women at OSU and experience the love of Christ with them. You will find me scoping out a local coffee shop to explore with students, trying a new soup recipe for Bible Study, meeting people in the gym, hosting game nights with my team, and having intentional conversations just about anywhere about how Jesus has changed my life and brought me authentic joy. I would love to tell you more about what Jesus has done in my life — don’t hesitate to reach out so we can get together and swap stories 🙂
I grew up in a Catholic family where attending Sunday Mass, praying before meals and bed, and serving others was a way of life. As I grew up and started to receive the Sacraments, I developed a deeper curiosity for the faith. Throughout high school, I got involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and started a youth Bible study. Still, by the time I got to college at the University of Northern Iowa, I had no idea how to personally live out my Catholic faith without my family around. I found myself feeling isolated, confused, and grasping for anything to make me feel like I belonged.
I joined a Bible study at UNI’s student center and faithfully attended it for a year without putting myself out there or experiencing connection. Sophomore year a FOCUS missionary named Whitney approached me, looked me in the eyes, asked for my name, and said she was glad I was there. She invited me into her Bible study and started to meet with me one on one, investing in me and helping our student center become my home. The Lord reminded me time and time again of His love for me and a desire to have a relationship with me through daily prayer. I fell in love with the Catholic faith and could not help but invite others into it. That is why I have said “YES” to mission. I am thrilled to see what God will do with my YES and my hopes to lead students to Christ and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Jesus has transformed my heart and I can’t wait to share that with students at Ohio State!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. By joining my support team, you can impact students through radical generosity. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
