We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“The secret of happiness is to live moment by moment and to thank God for all that He, in His goodness, sends to us day after day.”
Saint Gianna Molla
The Lord has called me to the serve students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston! I am honored and excited to share the hope and joy of the Gospel with college students! I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you.
Growing up in a big Catholic family in western New York, we attended Sunday Mass and said prayers before meals as a family. However, it wasn’t until college that I learned the Lord wanted to have a personal relationship with me. During my freshman year at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), I encountered FOCUS missionaries on campus and was captivated by their authentic joy. As I got to know them through Bible studies and long walks, they led me directly to our Lord in the sacraments. During Lent of my freshman year, my life radically changed and I experienced the joy of the Resurrection for the first time.
Thanks to the FOCUS missionaries at WPI, I got to witness the power of authentic friendship which led me and those around me closer to the Lord. I can’t wait to continue walking alongside students in their journey towards Christ in the same way I have been invested in.
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, thankful for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Phil 1:3-6
Following in the footsteps of Saint Paul, I will be serving full-time as a missionary inviting MIT students into authentic friendship, Bible studies, and discipleship groups. In order to fulfill this mission and the Lord’s call on my life, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners during my time with FOCUS. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. By serving as a mission partner, you have the opportunity to be an integral part of spreading the Gospel to all nations. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
Feel free to call me at 716-473-8180 or send me an email at [email protected] — I’d love to share more!
