We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“The world tells us to seek success, power, and money; God tells us to seek humility, service, and love.”
~Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
For my first year in FOCUS, I will be serving at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. — go Revolutionaries!
Please pray for me and my team!
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to bring students into relationship with God and His Church. My own life has been transformed because of Christ, and I now understand better the importance and beauty of being Catholic. Growing up, faith was never far from me as my parents were devout Catholics and always made sure that I went to Church and knew about my faith. I never really considered faith as something for me individually, and instead I had respect for the Catholic faith simply because my family had respect for it. It wasn’t until I went to college at Towson University and got involved with the Newman Center there that I had my first encounter with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. It was during Adoration at a retreat, and I remember in that moment feeling so loved by God. After that, I finally began to see God for who He really is – my Father and my Friend. I became very involved with the Catholic Center afterwards and walked with other students in their faith and loved every minute of it. I am excited for what this upcoming year holds, and I can’t wait to walk with the students at GW in their journey with Christ and His Church!
When I said yes to serving as a missionary with FOCUS, I also said yes to trusting God through the support of others—both spiritually and financially. This mission isn’t something I can do alone, and I’d love to invite you to be a part of it. If you’re open to learning more, let me know the best way to connect, and I’ll reach out to schedule an appointment. Your support would not only make this mission possible, but would also allow you to directly impact the lives of students seeking deeper faith and purpose. I’d be so grateful to share this journey with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
