I am going to be a first year missionary serving at University of Pittsburgh!

My Story

At the end of a long term relationship I was left broken, alone, and had forgotten who I was and what I was made for. I ended up placing a lot of my identity in academics, friendships, and other activities I was involved in. None of these identities fulfilled the gaping hole in my heart.

Before the school year of Fall’23 the University of Arizona was a FOCUS expansion campus. I had a powerful encounter with one of the missionaries who said “yes” to the Lord. Because of their “yes” Jesus reached my heart and I received many graces. The most important grace I received was learning that I am a beloved daughter of God who was made for love, out of love, and to love others the same way I am loved.

I was deeply invested in by that same missionary through discipleship and grew in virtue. At SEEK’24 I got the call to become a FOUCS missionary. I desire to give back what I have received, leading others to Christ following the Holy Spirit.

When I gave the Lord my “yes” to FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on spiritual and financial support of Mission Partners to join me and help me fulfill the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19). I am blessed with magnificent people who are joining me on this journey as I serve the University of Pittsburgh.
