The Lord has called me to serve at the University of Illinois at Chicago – GO FLAMES! 🔥
The Lord has pursued my heart immensely, and it is a joy getting to go on mission! You can typically find me at a local coffee shop, out and about on campus, or at the Newman Center. I would love to share with you my story, so come find me and I’d love to chat with you! 😊

For most of my life, I didn’t have an understanding of what it means to practice the Catholic faith and be in relationship with Jesus.
Entering Northern Illinois University, I felt so lost because I didn’t know what being in community was. When the 2020 pandemic happened, I was struck with the reality of feeling and being isolated and I didn’t have a good community around me. During the spring semester of my sophomore year, I encountered FOCUS missionaries for the first time, however, these missionaries tried so hard to pursue a friendship with me, but I didn’t know how to let them in. During my junior year, I started to become more open to the idea of community, and the missionaries still continued to pursue me. It was then that I came to realized that these women wanted to be my friend and desired for me to know who Jesus is. Through their witness of the Gospel, I started to build a more Christ-centered life through participating in the Sacraments more frequently and developing a daily prayer life that led to my heart to change radically. My senior year of college, I became so convicted of how much Jesus wants to pursue a relationship with me and how He desires that for everyone which led me to saying YES to being a FOCUS missionary!

When I said YES to joining FOCUS, I made the radical decision to fully rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners and the Father’s trust to help me through this mission.
If you are interested in being on mission with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and we can schedule an appointment to talk more! I would love to share more about it and my role and would be incredibly honored to share in this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
