I am serving at FOCUS’s headquarters,The Denver Support Center. Specifically, I am on mission as a manager on the Compensation and Benefit teams within the Human Resources Department. I get to be a missionary to the missionaries! On-campus missionaries have lives that require them to be ALL IN and the support FOCUS offers its employees is unmatched. I’m blessed to be able to work remotely so we can live in Olathe, Kansas so Mark can continue his position with Vantage Medtech.

I grew up in the suburbs of Denver in Littleton, Colorado. My family is so close and dear to my heart and this is where my love for Christ began and took root. They showed me what the Father’s love looks like before I could comprehend what love really was. My parents, 7 siblings and in-laws are so involved in our faith. They continually show me what it means to not only be Catholic, but to love the Lord and live faith centered lives. Growing up with such great role models led me to love participating in youth group and eventually become a leader for an all-girls youth group, retreats and camps. Through this experience with Challenge, I was able to have my first real experience encountering Christ and his loving gaze. This encounter made me desire a deeper relationship with our Lord.  I’ve held onto this encounter throughout the years as a reminder that God’s love IS real, even during the many, many times when I do not feel His presence. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel.

In 2019 I graduated from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas with a double major in Business Administration and Psychology. The semester before I graduated, I had the opportunity to intern in the Human Resources Department at the Denver Support Center. During that summer I fell even more in love with our Lord and was awe struck by FOCUS and the mission, every person’s desire to spread the Gospel and make Christ known to others in a concrete way. After some discernment throughout the semester, I knew the Lord was calling me to work for FOCUS and be a lifelong missionary. I love being a missionary to the missionaries.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. What a truly beautiful gift to not be self-reliant but to be invited to more fully trust the Lord and His plan for me! I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve our missionaries on campus.
