Where I serve

I have been called to serve at the University of Montana! Go Griz! At UM I have the honor of serving as a Varsity Catholic missionary and a FOCUS Greek missionary, meaning a large portion of my mission includes walking with female athletes and women in sororities.

My Story

Though I was raised Catholic, my arrival to college shook my foundation and I placed my identity in many things of this world. I turned my gaze away from Christ. This led me back to my Catholic roots and knowing that I needed to surrender to His divine will. A persistent FOCUS missionary encouraged me to attend a SEEK conference, and my life was changed forever. A radical encounter with God in the Holy Spirit through prayer teams led me to asking the question, “what now?”

What followed was a life of abundance, obedience, and trusting in His plan. If there was a God who created the Universe and was willing to come down from Heaven to pull me out of my mess, how could I not share that with others? I jumped into mission knowing very little, and through my littleness He taught me the most important thing; the whole point is relationship with Him.

Through mission, I have been able to take part in God bringing His daughters home to His heart. This has showed me in such a tangible way that there is nothing better that I could do than to give away my life for the sake of the Gospel.

This is what I have the honor of doing through FOCUS. Serving God’s children and sharing that He has abundant life waiting for them. We are all called to “make disciples of all nations…” (Mt. 28:19) and God has called me to do this in a very tangible way on a college campus, ministering to a lost generation and bringing children home to their Father.
