Where I serve

I have the great grace of serving college students at Northern Arizona University in the beautiful mountain town of Flagstaff, AZ. I can be found hanging out at our Newman Center, playing spikeball on campus, or whipping something up in my home kitchen. I cannot wait to join students in the simple parts of their every day lives, and walk with them as we all pursue a deeper life in Christ!

As a FOCUS missionary I have the privilege to reach students on campus for the Lord, and teach students to do the same. I will do this through doing on campus outreach, leading Bible Studies, walking with students in discipleship, teaching them how to walk in the faith life with others, and entering into all the simple little joys and sorrows of their lives with them.

So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.

I first encountered FOCUS as a freshman in college, at a time when I didn’t know anyone else on campus. Meeting the missionaries, I felt seen, heard, and deeply loved, and that encounter changed everything.

Over the next few years, I fell in love with the mission of FOCUS. I had the incredible gift of being discipled and then getting to walk with other women in the same way—loving them like Jesus, just as I had been loved.

In college I studied Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Through my studies I have found a great love for the ministry of Hospitality: creating a home, a space, and a heart where others can dwell peacefully. I am excited to tie this passion of mine into mission on campus, having students over for dinner, baking for Bible Study, and creating a space where students can rest and make room so they can encounter the love of the Lord.

Now, I’m being sent out as a full-time missionary and I cannot wait to share Christ’s love and walk with students in their own journey of faith—just like someone once did for me.
