We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth
in my own place, while not intending it,
if I do but keep His commandments
and serve Him in my calling.”
— St. John Henry Newman
I am incredibly excited to be serving at Indiana University and Purdue University in Indianapolis! With my teammates Lexi and Leslie, I look forward to invigorating the culture on my campus and introducing students to a deeper relationship with Jesus through authentic, Christ-centered friendship.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 (RSVCE)
Before college, I had great knowledge about my Catholic faith. I’m grateful that I was raised by a mother who knew the value of the faith and passed that on to me, giving me a rock-solid foundation that has led me to where I am today. Being in Catholic education since kindergarten, I’d heard time and time again about the Trinity, the Sacraments, and all the other important things that you might learn about in Catholic school. For years, I had gone to Sunday Mass, volunteered as an altar server, attended weekly youth group, and even led small groups during Catholic camp in the summer. Despite all this, though, I didn’t really know who Jesus was and I didn’t think that He really cared about who I was. Right before my senior year of high school, I had a powerful experience in prayer, revealing to me that Jesus knew who I was and wanted to have an actual relationship with me, more than hanging out for an hour once a week.
I came into college knowing that I wanted a relationship with Jesus, but not knowing how to get one. Soon after, I was invited by a missionary into my first Bible study which quickly led into intentional discipleship in the spring of my freshman year. Not long afterwards, I found myself leading my own Bible studies, inviting my friends and peers into what a relationship with Jesus could look like and wanting to share my own experiences in faith and prayer with others.
The summer before my senior year, during a holy hour, I heard the Lord ask me if I’d consider becoming a FOCUS missionary. As I prayed and talked through it with my missionaries, mentors, and friends, I felt the Lord calling me to do something that looked really uncertain, but could be an amazing adventure if I would only trust Him. So I said “YES!” Now, I’m excited to meet students, share my own experience of meeting Jesus, and encourage them to let Him meet them right where they are.
This mission isn’t a passive thing. It’s real work being done everyday by me and other missionaries across the country! When I said “YES” to being a missionary with FOCUS, I didn’t just agree to hang out with college students for a few more years. I said “YES” to being a light to all around me and radiating Christ to everyone I meet. But that’s not just a calling for me — it’s for you, too! I would love to invite you to join me on this mission and help me reach these students on campus through your financial support and (most importantly) your fervent prayer.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
