Where I serve

I am serving at Auburn University this fall while I finish earning my bachelor’s degree! In January 2026, I will be sent to a different campus somewhere in the country.

My Story

I’m a recent convert to the Catholic faith! I grew up agnostic, and religion was never a part of my life. Looking back, the Lord was constantly pursuing my heart and I was too stubborn to notice. All throughout my teenage years, I found myself searching for meaning in life, but never found an answer.

During my freshman year of college, I reveled in degeneracy. I was seemingly having the time of my life, yet I felt miserable inside. On New Year’s Eve 2022, one of my high school friends told me to check out a Catholic mass. Going back to school and realizing my roommate was Catholic, I decided to tag along.

That’s when it happened.
I recognized Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
Plain and simple, my life was changed.

I found the Truth that I was searching for all along. I immediately got involved with my campus ministry and met the FOCUS missionaries there. I joined a Bible study and accepted an invitation to discipleship all before I was even baptized! My journey hasn’t always been smooth, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I’m incredibly grateful for the men and women who’ve helped me get to where I am today.

I know what it’s like to walk around campus surrounded by thousands of students and still feel completely alone. I lived the same unfulfilling life that so many students are experiencing today. A good friend of mine once said “Our hearts are restless, O Lord, until they rest in you,” and I greatly desire to help lead college students towards a deep relationship with Christ, just as others did for me. This is why I became a FOCUS missionary!
