I’ve spent three years serving at Eastern Washington University and two years leading a missionary team at Cal State Fullerton. Now, I’m blessed to serve in Irvine, California, at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish alongside my newest teammate, Emily Ambrosio—a veteran with FOCUS. STM has been a huge blessing for our family as my wife, Kaity, and I raise our three children—Joey, Lucy, and Gracie.

In my early college years, I was searching for purpose but not finding much that lasted. I had tried different clubs, friend groups, and pursuits, but nothing seemed to truly satisfy. Then, in my senior year, a fellow student invited me to connect with a Catholic missionary named Ben. He hosted a poker night, and not long after, he invited me to a SEEK conference for college students.

At SEEK, I experienced something I hadn’t seen before—Catholics who were joyful, authentic, and fully alive in their faith. Over the course of the conference, I made friends who would become some of the most influential people in my life. On the third night, during adoration, I realized God was real, the Church was truly home, and if He had given everything for me, I should give everything back to Him. I decided then to go “all in” for Christ.

After that moment, my life took a completely new direction. I joined a Bible study, began leading one myself, met my wife Kaity, and eventually said “yes” to becoming a FOCUS missionary. Over the past six years, I’ve been blessed to share the Gospel, walk with students in their faith, and help them discover that a relationship with Christ changes everything.

In those years of mission, one truth has stood out: people rarely drift toward holiness on their own. We all need the “right stream”—faithful friends, uplifting influences, and a community that helps us move toward God even when we’re tempted to wander. My greatest joy is helping others step into that stream and stay in it.

Today, my mission is to walk with others as they discern God’s call, to encourage them to trust His abundance, and to help them live with the freedom and purpose He offers. My prayer is that the people I serve will encounter Christ as I did—and choose to go “all in” for Him.
