We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! My name is Teresa, and I’m a first year missionary at the College of William & Mary. I am so excited to accompany students in Williamsburg, VA as they encounter Christ and continue to grow in relationship with Him!
After graduating high school in rural Delaware, I was excited to move to the city of Philadelphia and begin my college journey at the University of Pennsylvania. While I knew I wanted to continue attending Mass and practicing the Catholic faith I was raised with, I was more excited to prioritize my academic and career goals.
During my time at Penn, however, I became involved with the Newman Center. Here, I attended a retreat for the first time, and realized that there was a lot I did not understand about Catholicism. I didn’t know that it was possible to have a personal relationship with Jesus, and I certainly did not know the depth of what that means. After having a profound experience, realizing that I deeply desired to learn more about prayer and the sacraments, I began to make a true effort to prioritize God in my life.
Through friendships with FOCUS missionaries and girls from Bible studies, I was able to bring Jesus into more and more parts of my life. The gift of love from these friends has been vital to my understanding of Christ’s love for me and all mankind; as a FOCUS missionary now myself, I hope to show this same love to as many people as God puts in my path and bring more souls to Him!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me every step of the way.
If you would like to join me on this wonderful mission to serve college students, please contact me at [email protected] so that we can schedule an appointment to discuss more about the work I’ll be doing with FOCUS. Thank you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
