We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Holiness consists simply in doing God’s will, and being just what God wants us to be.”
– St. Thérèse of Lisieux
I have the privilege of serving as a first-year missionary at Penn West Edinboro.
Do you desire to win the hearts of college students for Christ? God may be calling you to be a Mission Partner.
While not everyone is called to become a full-time campus missionary, everyone can make an impact. In the “Great Commission,” Jesus says “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28: 16-20). This commission was not just for the Apostles then, but extends to all Christians, even now.
The invitation to spread the Gospel all over the world is only possible if we work together as “one body in Christ” (Romans 12:5). We need to come together as a team because, as St. Paul rightly points out, there are many parts in one body (1 Corinthians 12:12-27); we each have something that the other needs to do this work.
Going to college campuses and leading students into a relationship with Jesus as a full-time missionary is only possible if we are part of a team that supports us with their prayers and resources. By giving your financial and spiritual resources for the salvation of souls, you participate in the great commission. Becoming a Mission Partner is an opportunity to have an impact wherever you are. Jesus wants everyone to have a part in his saving work.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
