We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve the college students at the University of Wisconsin in Madison!
Entering college, I was very lost. I didn t have much guidance, direction, or conviction as to what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew I wanted to be a great man. Due to this lack of direction, I soon found myself drifting back into the current of the worldly college culture. After a weekend of bad choices early on in my Freshman year, I showed up for Mass at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln Newman Center and prayed that the Lord would lead me on a path different than the one I was currently going down. After a few months that prayer came to fruition on a spiritual retreat when I encountered Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
It was the first time in my life that I felt His presence and His love. He communicated to me during that time of Adoration that He was there, and He loved me and knew me. He knew the vicious cycle of sin and despair I had been stuck in for years, and He told me He created me for something more. He created me for greatness, for love, and for eternal life. On that night, at that retreat freshman year, I gave Him my life. Since then, I have joined the apostles in saying I cannot but speak of what I have seen and heard (Acts 4:20) and this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. (Jn 17:3) Out of this deep desire and conviction came my call to mission with FOCUS. My goal? To make Jesus Christ known so that others may have eternal life.
The apostles didn’t do it alone and neither can I. When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to walk with me in this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
