Applying for a Trip

What you need to know

Two contacts that you have asked to be your references

• Your biographical information

• Your top two trip preferences from:

focusoncampus.org/missions/trips

• Allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical needs

• International Applicants– please use your current US address when possible. If you encounter any difficulties when submitting the application, please contact us at focusoncampus.org/missions/contact-us.

Accommodations

FOCUS strives to make reasonable accommodations for anyone desiring to participate in a FOCUS mission trip. However, FOCUS Missions cannot guarantee that our host in a given mission location is able to accommodate every situation. If you require particular accommodations due to a medical condition, dietary restriction, or mental health concern we ask you to disclose this information.

How to Apply

1. Go to apply.focusmissions.org and create an account

2. Login and click “My Applications“

3. Select your mission trip season

- The season for our spring break trips begins in February and ends in April.
- The season for our summer trips begins in May and ends in August.
- The season for our winter trips begins in September and ends in early January

4. Complete the application

- For short answer question please limit your answers to 2-3 sentences.
- The application should take 20 minutes or less.

5. Click “Submit Application”

6. Check your application status

- The Trip Director will contact you within three weeks to schedule an interview.
- To check on the status of your application, log back onto the missions application site: apply.focusmissions.org
