Session 2 Overview: The Story of Noah
This session reexamines the well-known story of Noah. We often read the story of Noah and think it’s about God’s judgment, but we want to propose that it’s actually a story of God’s mercy.
Through this study, we aim to uncover how the narrative of Noah isn’t just about God’s divine judgment but also about profound mercy and the continuous opportunity for redemption.
What Will You Learn In This Bible Study?
Key Highlights from the Discussion:
- The dual nature of Noah’s story: Noah’s story as more than a tale of judgment but as an example of God’s mercy.
- The covenants made from Adam to Noah: How the covenants build upon each other, illustrating God’s unfolding plan for salvation history.
- The contrasting lives of Cain and Seth’s descendants: How human choices influence history.
- Bishop Fernandes’ personal reflections: The covenant with Noah and its relevance to our spiritual journey today.
The key to Salvation History is our ability to follow and understand the covenants God is building.
Join Curtis Martin, Carrie Wagner, and Bishop Earl Fernandes in the Book of Genesis, Chapters 6 – 9, to learn more about God’s covenant with Noah.
