I was raised Catholic and took my faith seriously, but it wasn’t until the summer before my junior year of college that I experienced a deep reconversion and encountered the personal, intense love of Christ for me. Through the cross of OCD, the emotional struggles of being a student-athlete, and the witness of young people on fire for the Lord, God drew me into deeper humility, healing, and surrender. Now, I feel called to share that love and lead others into intimacy with Christ, trusting Him to use my story and my weakness for His glory.  During college, teaching toddlers in CCE about Jesus revealed to me the tender heart of God and His delight in His children. Later, while teaching 6th grade science, I realized I longed to minister beyond academics—to share Jesus and walk with students spiritually. This deep hunger confirmed God was calling me to a life of intentional, Christ-centered mission.

One of the beautiful things about mission is that no one can do it alone. God does not need our help, but He desires to bring us closer to Him through mission, together.

When I joined FOCUS, I said another radical “yes” to relying on spiritual and financial generosity from generous mission partners to make this work possible.
