Jesus completely transformed my life while I was a student-athlete at Northwestern State University.

Growing up, I went to mass and knew about God, but I did not truly KNOW Him. I spent years seeking fulfillment in sports, relationships, success, and so many earthly things, but it was never enough. I desired something more.

Everything changed when I met Abby, a FOCUS missionary, at a collaborative worship night. She invited me to join her Bible study and then into growing discipleship. Through scripture, prayer, and authentic friendship, I started to see more of who Jesus truly is and how He had been pursuing me all this time. I had finally found the fulfilment and lasting joy I’d been searching for. As my relationship with Christ grew, I felt Him calling me to mission. I started leading a Bible study for my volleyball team and discipling some teammates. Getting to walk with them, pray with them, and watch the Lord move in their hearts has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

I have seen how deeply sports culture needs the light and love for Jesus, and I want to be apart of sharing that love. I am honored to continue walking with students in their faith journey, to invite them into a relationship with Jesus, to build them through discipleship, and send them out to live mission.

I graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management, and I am so excited to give my YES to Christ through this mission!

When I said yes to becoming a FOCUS missionary, I also said yes to trusting God completely through fundraising my entire salary. This mission isn’t just mine, It’s ours. I can only be on campus sharing Christ because of generous mission partners who walk with me through prayer and monthly financial support.
