We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you.” – Pope St. John Paul II
University of Alabama at Birmingham
I grew up a lukewarm Catholic, going through the motions of faith without truly understanding or embracing it. In college, I drifted away, chasing fulfillment in all the wrong places and leaving God behind. But even in my wandering, the Lord never stopped pursuing me. In a moment of deep brokenness, He met me powerfully through the sacrament of reconciliation and the Eucharist— flooding my heart with mercy and grace. That encounter changed everything. I’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of God’s love, and now I feel called to share that with others. My hope is to walk alongside students as they grow in their faith and relationship with the Lord, and relate to them by sharing my own past struggles with doubt and feeling I would never truly know the Lord the way others seemed to. Through authentic friendship, I want to lead students to an encounter with Jesus and help them see that even in moments of uncertainty, God is always present and ready to guide us back to Him.
“And he arose and came to his father. But while he was yet at a distance, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.” Luke 15:20
This is where YOU come in! When I said “yes” to joining FOCUS, I chose to step out in faith and depend on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help make this mission possible. While not everyone is called to serve far from home, we are all invited to live on mission in our own way. The generosity of committed mission partners is what allows this work to continue and bear fruit.
If you want to partner with me, please feel free to reach out to me and we can schedule an appointment. I’d love to hear your story and unite our hearts in this shared mission of bringing others to Christ and fighting for the souls that don’t know they’re in a battle.
“Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.” – Philippians 4:17
