Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette!

My Story

I was raised in a devout Catholic family and knew about God’s love from a young age, but I didn’t fully understand the depth and life-giving nature of that love until college. When I arrived at the University of Arkansas, my freshman year, I joined a sorority and was invited into a FOCUS Bible study. Throughout my first semester, I felt like I was living a double life, trying to be the perfect sorority girl while also trying to be the perfect Catholic. By the end of the semester, I was exhausted.

That winter, I attended the SEEK conference, where the Lord met me in a profound way. He invited me to choose a life fully centered on Him and revealed that my true identity could only be found in Christ. I returned to campus with a renewed heart and a deeper desire to follow Him. Through God’s grace and being able to walk with faithful friends and missionaries, I learned what it meant to truly live in and through Jesus Christ. It has been the greatest joy of my life! He makes life so fun!

Through FOCUS, I had the opportunity to lead Bible studies and walk alongside other women in discipleship. As we pursued Christ together, my faith grew alongside theirs, and many of those women became some of my closest friends. Seeing the beauty of accompanying others in their relationship with the Lord grew a desire in me to continue this mission after graduation. I am excited to keep walking with college women and helping them encounter Christ wherever He calls me to serve!

When I answered God’s call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. I’m so grateful for those who walk alongside me. Walking with women toward Christ and reminding them they are deeply loved is my greatest joy. With your prayers and support, we can bring the Gospel to campuses and raise lifelong disciples.
