We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I will be serving at the University of Illinois as I finish my degree. I am excited to see what God will bring into my life through my role as a missionary!
I grew up in the Catholic faith, going to mass on Sundays and attending a Catholic school, but my faith didn’t mean anything more to me than an obligation. Then I went on a mission trip with FOCUS my freshmen year of college, and for the first time I understood the importance of a relationship with God. The lord placed a love of prayer on my heart during that trip, as well as a desire to share that love with others.
I started leading others the next school year, and quickly discovered the joy of watching others come to know Jesus. I witnessed the men I walk with come to understand that they were truly sons of God, and it deepened my own love for Him. I wanted to give myself to Jesus the same way He gave to me, with everything He had.
For a while, I thought that meant becoming a Franciscan priest. The lord brought many graces my way through the Franciscans, but ultimately took me in a different direction. God blessed me with the gift of FOCUS, and has invited me to continue to pour His love into others as a missionary. I can’t wait to see how else He will show me His love, and how else I can show His love to others!
I would love to talk to you about joining me on mission. The work done by FOCUS is not possible without supporters, and my support team is just as important to my mission as those I walk with, if not more! Please send me a text or email if you’re considering joining me in this journey.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
