Where I serve
I am a first year missionary and I am so excited to be serving at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville!
My Story
I grew up as a Cradle-Catholic in Dayton, Ohio. Although I knew Jesus as a child, as a teenager I viewed God as an impersonal task-master and so I rejected Him and His laws in my heart. I often sought love and approval in all the wrong places, leading me to a life of self-reliance and rebellion. When I was in college, in His tenderness, Jesus sought me out and I slowly came back to Him. I had a profound encounter with Jesus in the Holy Eucharist at the SEEK24 conference, where Christ professed His desire for me, and that He was the jealous lover after my heart. After that encounter, my life changed forever as I experienced deep formation and virtuous friendship through my college catholic community(raider up!). My great longing now is to burn with desire for Jesus and to share His message of love with every beloved son and daughter I encounter(including you!).
