GO-RILLAS!! I am excited to announce that my next journey in life is to do mission at Pitt State University in Pittsburg KS. I am truly blessed the Lord has granted me this opportunity to share the gospel and walk with students at this school. As a missionary, I will be leading bible studies, discipleships and creating community with students at this University. I would love to share more of what mission will look like, if you desire to know more.

I was raised in a practicing Catholic family, going to mass on Sundays and Holy days of Obligations. I attended grade school k-12 at Norris Public Schools just south of Lincoln, NE. During this time, I attended CCD classes at our local parish at St. James in Cortland, NE, on Sundays. CCD led me through receiving the sacraments of first communion and confession later receiving the Holy Spirit in Confirmation.

After grade school my education and spiritual journey continued at Wayne State College where I received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. I encountered FOCUS missionaries the first time I went to mass in Wayne and signed up for a bible study. I was not consistent in going to this bible study and focused more on what my own desires were. My first semester of sophomore year I joined the FOCUS missionaries on a trip to Estes Park, CO and saw so much beauty through God’s eyes. This is when I realized the love that the Father has for me and how I need to love Him back. I feared creating a relationship and getting to know Him because I knew I would have to change my ways but still had this desire to love Him. I joined a different bible study desiring to go and learn more every session we had.

The Lord encountered me by showing/feeling His love for me at Seek 2025 in Salt Lake City, UT. After continuing to grow our knowledge and love for each other, He invited me to share His word and love with others through FOCUS. I have given my “YES” to Him so I can show people that it’s not a scary thing and let them know that God brings order out of Chaos. I want others to know that even if you feel lonely than ever that God still sees you. I can’t wait to see what the Father has planned for me at Pitt State University!
