We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! My name’s Elizabeth, but you can call me Lizzi. I’m a FOCUS missionary.
For my sixth year as a missionary, the Lord has called me to serve in the Missions Department in Denver, CO. I am so excited to work on mission trips for students around the country to share the Gospel and serve the poor! I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — I think you should hear it sometime! Come find me and I’d love to share it with you!
When I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, I spent most of my time pursuing worldly success and achievement. As I ran after things that I expected to make me happy, an increasing sense of dissatisfaction and unhappiness took hold within me. Academic and professional victories felt hollow, and I was tired of running myself ragged looking for happiness. Then, the summer before my senior year, I found what was missing. On a mission trip to South East Asia, in adoration in a small chapel in Singapore, I heard Jesus call me back to Him. From that moment, my greatest desire became to know and love Christ. Now, as a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead others to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel that I have found.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve in missions. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
