Where We serve

God has called our family to serve the mission of Focus for the last 8 years! Catherine began serving at Georgia Southern University in the Fall of 2017 and David joined her in May 2018 after they got married. In our time with Focus, God has blessed our family abundantly with four beautiful children: Lucy (6), Judah (4), Maria (2), and our newest addition Annie (born Dec 2024)!

We spent the first 7 years of our marriage as on campus missionaries sharing the Gospel and investing deeply in young men and women on the college campus at Georgia Southern and Troy University. David served as a Team Director with Focus for the previous 5 years. As of summer 2025, David has accepted a full-time role working on Focus’ Staff Formation Team. In this role, he supports the mission by forming and equipping Focus’ staff to reach the world for Christ.

Our Story

“Evangelization will never be possible without the action of the Holy Spirit.” (Evangelii Nuntiandi 75) We have seen the Holy Spirit do amazing things over our 7 years as a missionary family!

Our lives have been transformed by Jesus and we want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. We look to Jesus own example to find the best method of reaching the world. We continue to be amazed by the souls that we encounter when we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us.
