Annie McBournie is President of the Schmitz Family Foundation. A Denver native and graduate of Machebeuf High School and Loyola Marymount University. Annie is a long time champion of Catholic education throughout the Archdiocese of Denver. Her family foundation’s mission is primarily to provide tuition assistance to working class families to attend faith based schools throughout the state of Colorado. Annie serves on the Catholic schools Advisory Board, the Teacher Compensation committee, and is a member of the FOCUS President’s Council. She has also previously served on the Seeds of Hope, ACE Scholarship and Regis Jesuit High School boards. She is married to Dean and they have 4 children.

Deacon Dan McConville
Deacon Dan McConville serves Saint Louis Parish in Louisville, Colorado. In addition to his diaconal duties at the Parish, Deacon Dan works in two Archdiocesan Ministries: prison ministry and disaster/emergency response ministry. He also has been an active Executive Volunteer with FOCUS since 2016. He continues to serve on corporate and non-profit Boards and to provide occasional consulting and executive coaching.
Prior to entering the Seminary, Deacon Dan worked at a Los Angeles law firm as a corporate attorney and then worked with a multi-billion dollar employee-owned international consulting and engineering firm headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado where he served as President.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Business at Georgetown University, his legal studies at Georgetown Law Center, and his Advanced Management studies at Harvard Business School.
He is married to his wonderful wife, Nellie. Together, they have three grown children – a son and two daughters. Nellie and Deacon Dan have lived in Louisville, Colorado since 2001.
Richard Todd
Rich is the CEO and co-founder of Innovest Portfolio Solutions. He has more than 35 years of experience in investment consulting and currently provides consulting services to institutions and families. Innovest has over 300 clients with assets of $35 billion and nearly 60 employees. Rich has a Business Finance degree from Western Colorado University.
He has been a frequent author on fiduciary and investment related matters. He has been a columnist for the Denver Business Journal and has been published in Financial Advisor Magazine, Journal of Compensation and Benefits, Pensions & Investments, Accounting Today, Chief Executive, Family Office Magazine, and PLANSPONSOR, among others. Additionally, Rich has been a guest lecturer at conferences across the nation.
Rich is on the Board of Trustees at Western Colorado University and formerly served as the President of Legatus of Colorado. He is a member of the Philanthropy Roundtable, the President’s Advancement Council, and the Board of Regents for the Augustine Institute. In addition, he was the Past Vice Chairman of Seeds of Hope Charitable Trust and the Past Chairman of Families of Character. Rich was also a member of the Arrupe Jesuit High School Board of Trustees and is currently on the Arrupe corporate work study board. He is on the Board of Katalyst whose mission is to bring Christians into the public square. Rich and his wife Joanie have been married for more than 35 years, have two children, Alex and Reagan, and two grandchildren, Sofia Rose and James Todd.
Joseph P. Helow
Joseph Helow is President of Marian Services, Inc., a real estate and investment company. He was formerly a Vice President with Blackstock & Company, working in research, capital management, and investment banking.
He is currently Chairman and President of the Margaret & George Helow Family Foundation, Chairman of the Ameris Bank Jacksonville Board, and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary Board of Trustees.
Previously, he was an Organizer and Director of First National Bank, President and Director of Catholic Charities Employment Programs, Director of the I. M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, Director of St. Vincent’s Hospital Foundation, Chairman of the Jacksonville Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition, and Director of the Jacksonville Catholic Charities Bureau.
Joe received his B.A. in Economics from Tulane University in 1980 and his MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from Tulane in 1981.
Joe and his wife, Julie, have been married for 40 years and have 10 children and 12 grandchildren.
Curtis Martin
Curtis Martin is the Founder of FOCUS, one of the fastest-growing Catholic apostolates in the Church today. Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia once remarked, “No one does a more dynamic job of reaching college students for Christ than FOCUS.”
Founded in 1998, FOCUS began with just two missionaries serving on a single campus. Since then, it has grown into a nationwide movement with hundreds of full-time missionaries serving tens of thousands across the country. Through its wide-reaching efforts, FOCUS is helping to advance the New Evangelization envisioned by Pope Saint John Paul II.
Curtis holds a master’s degree in theology and is the author of the best-selling book Made for More. He is also the co-author of The Real Story: Understanding the Big Picture of the Bible (with Dr. Edward Sri) and Boys to Men: The Transforming Power of Virtue (with Dr. Tim Gray).
In recognition of their extraordinary contributions to the Church, Curtis and his wife, Michaelann, received the Benemerenti Medal from Pope Saint John Paul II in 2004. In 2011, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Curtis as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council of the New Evangelization. Curtis and Michaelann reside in Colorado and are the proud parents of nine children and grandparents to eight.
Craig Miller
After a sales and marketing career in Silicon Valley, including leading global accounts for a Fortune 100 organization, Craig Miller was looking for a new challenge that better aligned with his Catholic faith. Craig accepted Curtis’ invitation to help him lead the ministry, focusing especially on the expanding operational needs created by FOCUS’ growth. Since then, Craig has worked alongside Curtis as a central leader in overall mission and strategy and by overseeing all aspects of operations, administration, development, and finance. Craig currently serves as the CEO of the FOCUS Mission Foundation. Craig has a deep love for Jesus and His Church, and his leadership has been instrumental to the fruitfulness of FOCUS’ mission. He and his wife, Melissa, live in Genesee, Colorado, and are blessed with six children and one grandson.
Judy Dunn
With a business degree from Southern Methodist University, Judy Dunn built her early career at EDS, driving sales in health care, federal government and financial areas, and IBM, serving in financial marketing and sales. Originally from Texas, Dunn moved to Detroit in the 1980s and began to collect wine. Pursuing this passion with her business sense, Judy purchased Decanter Imports, a wine distributor, and served as President and Owner for 15 years before selling the company in 2005.
A strong proponent for service and missionary work, Judy has worked for over 20 years with the Daughters of Charity on their local Detroit board and volunteered countless hours with some of the city’s homeless children. She has served on many mission trips with the Missionaries of Charity on locations around the world.
Today, Judy splits her time between Detroit, Michigan and Aspen, Colorado, where she fulfills her love for all the winter sports and the mountains. She is excited to begin a new Legatus chapter in Aspen in the coming months.
She currently serves on the Board of Regents for the Augustine Institute and the Board of Directors for the Austin County State Bank in Bellville, Texas.
Margot Kyd
Margot Kyd spent nearly 30 years of her career at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Sempra Energy, a San Diego-based Fortune 200 energy services company. She served in various capacities, including senior vice president and chief administrative and environmental officer for Sempra Energy, SDG&E and Southern California Gas Company in Los Angeles, and vice president of human resources, vice president of marketing and customer service, vice president of administrative services and corporate treasurer for SDG&E.
Margot is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of the FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), the Magis Institute and Life Perspectives. She also serves as a member of the Board of Regents of the Augustine Institute and is a Trustee Emeritus for the University of San Diego.
Margot is a past member of the Board of Trustees of JP Catholic University and of the Board of Directors of Catholics for the Common Good, the Los Angeles Urban League, the National Association of Women Business Owners-LA Foundation, the Women’s Resource Committee, the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Japan Society of San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico, the San Diego United Way, and the Arthritis Foundation. She also served on the Board of Directors of Pantellos Corporation, a for profit emarketplace for the energy utilities industry. She is a member of Legatus and a Lady of the Holy Sepulchre where she served as the San Diego Area Councillor for eight years.
Margot has been married to her husband, Tom, for 40 years and has one son, Brian, and three grandchildren.
Michaelann Martin
Michaelann is married to Curtis Martin, and they have been working with college students and young people for over twenty years. They are recognized speakers in many areas of living the Catholic faith in family life and in the world.
Michaelann studied psychology and business, attaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1988 and continued her education by receiving a Master of Education in 1989 from Pepperdine University. Since then, Michaelann has been occupied with the education of her nine children and involved in working with young girls, teens, college women and married women. When she is not schooling her children, she enjoys working with the missionaries and wives involved with FOCUS.
After much prayer, Curtis and Michaelann formed Made for More Inc. in 2010 for the sole purpose of sharing God’s vision for greatness with young people. Curtis and Michaelann have tried to keep their faith and family as top priorities and in so doing have written a few studies for personal or group reflection and discussion, including “Family Matters,” “Boys to Men,” “Made for More,” “Woman of Grace,” and “Girls Night Out: Having fun with Your Daughter while Raising a Woman of God.”
