Itinerary

Friday, March 8 – Arrive in New York, New York

Individuals arrive to JFK airport for a brief orientation with the group. Stay overnight in hotel before departing for Sarajevo the next day.

Sunday, March 10 – Arrive in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Arrive in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meet your English-speaking guide and depart for Medjugorje later in the day.

Monday, March 11 - Friday, March 15 – Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Spend five days in the village of Medjugorje, where apparitions of Our Lady started on June 24, 1981 and continues to this day. Take advantage of this powerful place of pilgrimage and prayer with daily Mass and 6PM rosary.

A local guide will show you the major sites of the Shrine with opportunities to climb Apparition Hill, where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. You’ll have the opportunity to pray before the statue which commemorates the spot where Our Lady first appeared to the visionaries. Finally, visit and pray at “Blue Cross”, a very special place at the base of Apparition Hill. We will climb Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a 30’ high cross on the anniversary of Jesus’ crucifixion which contains a relic from the actual Cross of Christ given to the villagers by the Pope.

Saturday, March 16 – Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina to New York, New York

Return flight to JFK, arriving in the evening. Spend the night in New York.

Sunday, March 17 – Depart New York, New York

Debrief with the group. Board individual flights back home.
