After serving as an on-campus missionary with FOCUS, I now serve on the Accounting Team at the Denver Support Center.

By helping steward and record FOCUS’ finances, I support our missionaries and the financial sustainability of FOCUS, which allows the organization to grow and invite more people into a joyful life with Christ!

Although I was raised in a faithful family, during college I was still searching for deeper peace and purpose. I was involved on campus, part of a sorority, and surrounded by good friends, but I felt a sense of emptiness and a deep desire for something more.

During my junior year, God encountered me through a missionary with FOCUS. Through her friendship and an invitation to pray daily in the chapel, I encountered Jesus in the Eucharist in a personal way that radically changed my life.

As I received His mercy, my heart began to change. I came to understand that my identity rests not in accomplishment or belonging, but in being known and loved by Him. Having a personal relationship with Jesus transformed me, and I chose to follow Him as the center of my life. 

That same invitation remains open to each of us — to surrender to Jesus, to be loved where we are, and to begin again in His mercy. You are His child and precious gift, and He wants to bring you home to Heaven.

As part of my support team, you have the unique opportunity to impact the work of every missionary through the nature of my role in Accounting. The prudent stewardship and accounting of finances for FOCUS allows the organization to continue to flourish and impact countless souls.
