I first encountered Jesus Christ in the second half of my sophomore year…. at a frat party. I heard a gentle voice say to me during the party “There is more to life than this”. I realized this “more to life” can be found in only one thing, Jesus. I was caught in worldly desires and Christ had met me where I was. The weekend following the party, I went to my first confession in about a decade. This was the moment I gave my life to Christ. After this, I became more than well acquainted with Campus Ministry and the FOCUS missionaries at Seton Hall University. Throughout 2025, God led me on a journey that revealed he wanted me to be a FOCUS missionary, all I did was say yes.

Through your support of this mission, your impact will be felt by students across Duke University. In supporting the mission, you are aiding students in recognizing that authentic friendship and living their faith boldly are the best possible ways to bring both themselves and those they encounter closer to Christ. College is a formative time in life that dictates how we live out the rest of our lives. I believe that through the FOCUS mission of making missionary disciples, we can impact generations of men and women to come as they enter their adult lives and lead their communities in their jobs and vocations.
