Michelle faced her illness with incredible courage and grace, embodying her deep trust in God until her final day on December 25, 2015. She passed away at just 31 years old, leaving behind an inspiring legacy of faith, joy, and resilience.
On June 16, 2022, a formal investigation into Michelle Duppong’s life began. Later that year, on All Saints Day, the process for her beatification officially began, acknowledging her reputation for holiness and the reported miracles attributed to her intercession. One such miracle involved the healing of a woman suffering from the same type of cancer that Michelle endured. In November 2022, Bishop David Kagan declared her a Servant of God at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck.
