Where I serve

God has called me to serve college students at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln! Go Big Red!! It is the greatest gift to serve college students alongside some of the best people I know 🙂

My Story

My life was radically transformed by Jesus when I was a student at the University of Kansas. I spent the majority of my undergrad years seeking happiness and fulfillment in things that would never truly satisfy. I always knew there was more to my faith than just going to Mass on Sunday and “checking all the boxes”, but I didn’t know what that looked like. The summer between my senior year of college and graduate school, I had an incredibly transformative experience on a FOCUS mission trip. I received a glimpse of the abundant life Jesus desired for me, and knew that I needed to fully surrender my life to him in order to be truly fulfilled.

My senior year at KU, I was incredibly blessed to meet a FOCUS missionary who pursued authentic friendship with me and walked with me on my faith journey. As I became friends with the missionaries on my campus, I couldn’t help but notice how differently they were living compared to most of the world. The joy that I witnessed them living out of was exactly what I knew was missing from my life, and I desired to do whatever it took to experience that joy. This led me to daily prayer and frequenting the sacraments. My life very quickly changed for the better as I fell more deeply in love with Jesus. In grad school, I grew a deep desire to share the Gospel with others which led me to saying yes to FOCUS. I could not be more excited to be a full-time missionary and walk with others as they grow closer to Christ!!
