I currently serve at the University of Iowa, where the Lord has called me to bring students into relationship with Christ. I serve alongside six other missionaries, here is our team!

I grew up with strong catholic roots, thanks to a faith filled family. However, my faith was tested and splintered during my early years at Iowa State. I was easily caught up in the party, work hard, play hard culture. Realizing this lifestyle only brought a restless and unfilled heart, I began a slow reconversion back to the faith with the help of a FOCUS missionary.

In turning back to the faith, I found joy and peace that was too great not to share. Alongside another fraternity brother going through a similar reconversion, we started a bible study in our fraternity. With a growing conviction for Christ and his teachings, we made it our mission to bring Christ to all our fraternity brothers for the remainder of our time at Iowa State. Now I hope to bring the same freeing truths of Christ to the University of Iowa’s fraternity men.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
