God has called me to serve at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While on campus I lead bible studies for various sports teams, walk with students intentionally in discipleship, serve as the men’s formation house leader, and try to be a reliable presence for students around campus. Lets Go Ragin’ Cajuns!

Coming into college I was confronted with the decision that many college students face “Will I continue following the faith in my time at school?” Sadly, I answered no to this crucial question. After years of living within the normal college culture I found that I was not happy and not fulfilled by this lifestyle. I began feeling that there was something more to life and I saw it in my friends and family who lived their faith well. Through the living example of these individuals I began to put Christ at the center of my life and was transformed by His love and mercy.

God began inviting me more and more into life with him and I began to see the fruits of His work. But still something was missing, up to this point the journey to God was a private one. I felt God calling me to do more and that was when I was invited to interview for FOCUS. This was it, this was what God wanted me to do. The love that He gives us is not meant for us in isolation, it is meant to be shared with the world and that is what I have seen through FOCUS. Leading a bible study for my teammates and friends on the rugby team just helped to reinforce this fact. It is a crucial part of our life in Christ to spread his love and answer his call to “make disciples of all nations.” That has lead me to where I am today and I’m thrilled to devote my life to Christ and his mission.

In being a FOCUS missionary I was challenged in many ways to give myself more and more over to Christ and to trust in Him. One of these ways is by relying on the generosity of others. We are all called to live mission in one way or another and I am inviting you to enter into mission with me through your donation and prayers. My mission partners play a crucial rule in my ministry and outreach, helping to support myself and my mission.
